Funeral Celebrant Services
As Celebrants our role also involves fond farewells.
Personally, I will often suggest that whilst some may see it as the final curtain being drawn for a loved one when they pass away, as a Celebrant, it is my role to give them their final encore.
A last bow,
A last song
A final smile.
I talk to the family, listen to the treasured memories and then bring them together in a service of love, happiness and memories that last not just for the moments of the service but for a lifetime beyond.
Our job at Mariposa Creations is to create, to make memories and to write things that have meaning and are bespoke. In September 2020, in one of the most unusual years we have ever seen, I was honoured to have been asked to put something together for Children's Hospice South West which was shared in their Memories by Moonlight Ceremony, filmed by and available to view on the Cornwall Channel.
I was once asked to find a reading suitable for a loveable cockney rogue with an Eastend history, I couldn't find one; that was the day I started to write personalised readings for my funeral ceremonies.
